Magic Time develops the speaking, listening and pre-writing skills of young children through friendly characters, engaging art, music and movement. The activities and games supporting the syllabus keep young learners engaged by appealing to their natural curiosity and sense of fun.
Magic Time is followed by the six-level communicative series, English Time. These two series can be used separately or as one complete eight-level course.
Language is taught through exciting, colorful, full-page scenes that kids will love. Continuing characters, Ted, Annie, Digger and Dot (a magic fairy), engage and entertain students as they move from scene to scene.
Every lesson contains a song or chant that provides fun reinforcement and extends the language practice. Suggestions for further music and movement activities as well as extension games and activities are provided throughout the Teacher's Book.
In addition, Picture and Word Card Books provide photocopiable visuals to accompany each lesson, and Wall Charts provide enlarged versions of the Student Book pages, making the course flexible enough to meet the needs of any classroom situation.
